The KLIO Mount System is a universal, modular mount system for the secure, efficient, and refined installation of objects in museums and exhibitions. Its standardized modular design enables customized, individual object mounts in compliance with the highest conservation and design standards.
Based on a system proven thousands of times in museum practice, KLIO offers sophisticated solutions for the display of flat and three-dimensional objects. Despite its extensive versatility, the system is simple to use and flexibly scalable in size and strength.
What is KLIO Mount Systems?
TOP elements are used for the direct mounting of the object to the holder. They are individually formed to securely and delicately support the artifact.

LINK elements connect TOP and BASE components together. They facilitate variable spacing, inclinations, and precise object positioning.

BASE
BASE elements serve to anchor the mount to showcases, plinths, or walls. They accommodate TOP and LINK elements, securing the object firmly in place.

Over the past 30 years, Harry Hauck has planned and supervised hundreds of museums at an international level — including at Ralph Appelbaum Associates, one of the world's most renowned exhibition design firms. He co-founded id3d·berlin and is regarded as one of the most experienced minds in the planning and execution of object displays.

The team’s expertise in object mounting does not come from textbooks, but from thousands of hours spent on-site in museum galleries.
